You would think that if someone had a real complaint about this property they would contact the management company rather than take personal shots at the site manager. I have delt with SUHRCO and the site staff and have always been delt with in a professional manner. My feeling is that if you are not willing to connect your name with a complaint, it is not worth the paper it is written on.

I have read through many of these opinions that have been posted, and I must say I am a bit taken back.
While certain individuals could have had a more tactful delivery, their core issues with Cambria Hills hold a large amount of validity.
If we truly are able to call you Don Thomson to explain our concerns that is great, but I believe that as the manager's boss you should be aware of the amount of time that the Rental Office is empty. I fully understand and respect your decision to stick up for your employee, but I do also think that you should be certain that you are sticking your neck out for an employee that performs his or her duties pertaining to their employment with your company with proper performance. It is my opinion that maybe you should hire personnel that promote professionalism and punctuality. I do believe some opinions regarding Jenny's/Jennie's character are not productive, but I think your anger that comes forth in your response is directed at the wrong people. Now, one person cannot post multiple opinions on this website, so that means that more than one person has had and continue to have problems with your manager's lack of attention and customer service ability. This is not in any way meant to be disrespectful, so I do sincerely apologize if this seems a bit mean, but it is obvious you are not in touch with the residents at this property or these accusations would not come as a surprise to you. Many neighbors have broken their leases or not signed extensions (just like I am not going to do) because we are unhappy. Please take the time to train your staff instead of writing angry blog comments to residents. I like 2 other people have tried to call you with no return to my initial call.

This is so dumb. Aren't you Jennie's boss. The maintanence guy has mentioned the name Don tons of times to me in conversation. It's nice to know that to you, our claims are not valid. This is a perfect example of why we are all moving. I have actually tried to call you twice with complaints and you did not return my calls. There is more than just me complaining on here and I can tell you none of us are lying about what we have been through. Why don't you hire someone who shows up and works then no one will complain.

I just read this pathetic attempt to save Jenny's reputation. I think the user TF1974 has it right- hire a competent person and no one will have issues. The fact that you are backing her up shows me how awful this place is. As her boss you should be rectifying the situation, not making excuses for it. This place exists for us to voice concerns and complaints. Don't like it, hire some one new or don't read it.

Oh my gosh, please spare us your tired speech. It's so lame. Truly. I happen to know all of these residents because neighbors here actually talk to each other. All of them are pissed off for a reason. Why don't you take a look at the real issues? The issues are not our complaints. The issues are your staff is inexcusable. I am not trying to be offensive, Just truthful. I apologize if this comes across harsh, but shouldn't you do an interview before you hire? She told me three months ago she has no Property Management experience prior to working here....so what's up with that? I think you know what the joke is here amongst all of us. Wake up. I know I called that number above once to complain about your "manager" never working and guess what? Left you a voicemail and no call returned. Seriously.

dude, so dumb what you wrote. wake up. this place sucks and so does your attitude. totally not neccessary for you to be so rude. in case you can't tell we are ALL SO OVER IT here. we're so tired of the bs. everyone is right. this is your fault. dont get mad at us for telling the truth about how bad it is here. fix the problem (your dumb manager) or keep quiet and let us speak our piece.

This review really bothers me. I am stunned that the manager's boss or supervisor would have such a blatant disregard for residents' concerns and complaints. I can personally attest to the fact that all of the reviews are situations that I have personally experienced during my lease here at Cambria Hills. I have had to pay my rent late more than once due to office not being open during the middle of the day on the 5th. There is only woman who is older that maintains stable office hours. I am fed up with not having my repair requests (whether sent via email or telephone calls) being completed. I have to call the office numerous times for sometimes 2 weeks just to get the manager on the phone. It's so annoying and frustrating. Also, every statement about the manager's low cut tops and and inappropriate work clothes are also true. My teenage niece went to the office to pay rent a few months ago and said ,"That blonde lady was wearing a hoochie top. When she leaned over I could see her whole bra and it was see through. It was kinda awkward for me." My niece is only 13 years oldI am so stunned at "Don Thompson/donaldrt@comcast.net"s response. He seemed to angry and very challenging. I cannot believe that a supervisor would write such a review. If I were a supervisor I would making a phone call to the manager and having a sit down, not challenge residents about their complaints. Why would we call? Our phone calls (at least mine) are never returned. After a while you just give up trying to communicate. Of course you have had a "good experience with Surco", you work for them. Your review was not only astonishing it was very misleading. You began your review writing as if you were a resident. Shame on you and your staff.

I am saddened by this supervisor's review. It it obvious that the supervisor would rather throw stones at the residents instead of trying to resolve the above conflicts. I never should have moved in here because everyone's reviews are truthful. I hate it here and I never should have moved in.
