What a turd. This place is HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY!

I moved in a year ago, in the middle of the month. Management was helpfull in pro rating our lease, and told us we would be pro rated at the end of the lease also. Come end of lease time we wanted out for the following reasons:
1. MOLD, MOLD, and more MOLD. It is everywhere!
2. Maintenance. Every single month almost on the dot we would need maintenance to come in and fix something. We still have parts of the floor that are removeable or unsecured. We had to delay our move in becasue they wanted to paint and fix problems we found in the walk through.1 year laters the problems are still there, and we never got new paint, or a new carpet like they promised us.
3.Power, half of the outlets in our apartment, do not work at all
4.INSECTS, this place should be fumigated or torn down, we have several colonies of ants living throughout the apartment.
5. Parking, there is no freaking parking unless you pay the $30 parking fee, even if you do, people will still take your spot, and management would only put "warnings" on offender cars.
6. MANAGEMENT LIES, they completely lied about our lease when we wanted to renew, or move. We were told they could pro rate if we went past out move out date, now they are making us pay for a full months rent, because the manager denies ever talking to us about a pro rate. They quoted us a rent increase if we were to renew. We thought it would be a small increase maybe $50, no they wanted to raise from 970 to 1200 if we were to renew. Screw That!

DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER LIVING HERE IT IS ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES YOU WILL EVER HAVE!

Everything you brought up we emailed to Canyon Pointe,asked that if we did decide to lease,pkng must be included in total costs Also guarantee designated pkng spot would be available on demand.If not,reimbursement for that month automatic to whatever normal fee associated with pkng Lease would go month to month at whatever lease ended at with a 6 month window, this is way our current lease is written,works wonderfully for us.Mgt responds well also as stipulation in lease says they must within 24hrs,and put in writing what they did or intend to do with repairs My sister was a manager for a diverse group of apts and income levels she leased to.Was very successful as she fully honored lease in all aspects.Corporation she worked under did not always like that,but occupancy stayed at over 90% at most locations and in a depressed area of WI no less Her motto was to care for people as she would want, She also showed me how to keep crooked land holders temporarily honest
