I have endured almost 2 years of torture here at Heatherwood. I am a single parent and didn't have alot of choices of where I could get a decent sized apartment at a decent price so I ended up here. The apartments themselves are actually pretty nice. Big apartments nice lay out and I really like the location. What makes living here so horrible is the community, the kids running crazy all over the place, cops and aide cars here all the time and most of all the staff.There is so much turn over the staff has no clue what is going on and they don't enforce any of the community rules and put a stop to the drugs, crime and delinquint kids running the complex all hours of the day and night. I am on the verge of getting a lawyer due to the constant notices I am getting every month stating I owe money even though I pay my rent an water every month. Also they put a washer and dryer in your apartment and then charges you 35.00 per month rental fee for the washer and dryer already in your apartment. Al on top of the rent there is 40.00 for cable and usually 40.00 or more per month for water. I paid less for water when I had a 2000 square foot house! If there is a way to screw someone over the management will find a way to do it! I am not on section eight and pay for all of this crap my self. I guess in the end I could have gotten a more expensive apartment in a better community after they nickel and dime you to death. It is not as cheap as they make it sound, don't be fooled, there are a bunch of hidden costs on top of the rent.I walked out the door the other morning and ran into 3 Millcreek police officers in the hall. They are probably here everyday if not more then that. Bottom line, unless you are totally desperate and can't figure out any other alternatives, don't rent here.

I don't know the person who posted this but I live at the HeatherHell as well. I'm a decent, law abiding citizen. I work for a living, I pay my bills. I'm supposed to pay under 1050 for rent. by the time they add this and overcharge that.. I'm paying 1300 every month. help.. me get out of here!!! If it's not barf in the parking lot.. someone has dinged your car with a ball, a skate board or just keyed it for fun. The staff will lie to your face. I've watched it and tested it. Ask the woman who was raped how she feels about being talked about by the staff as if she made it up?? The dogs are all over and they allow breeds that are dangerous. Even though they say they don't allow pits and rotties.. you can find them all over. they allow just anyone to rent especially if they are section 8 preferably drinking or drugging... Anyway. There has been a slight improvement lately... but summer is coming... and it will be a disaster with kids running everywhere and no where to play. move elsewhere...seriously. It's a joke here.. they charge high mill creek prices for tacoma ghetto
