we moved in to the heatherwood apt. in Febuary from Whitecenter Seattle which is a high gang area. I moved here to try to give my son a better life to get him out of the high gang area. lol when i first came here i was amased I felt like hell this is one of the nices places we have lived how ever that was very short lived we are currently looking for a new place. these apt have more gang activety more drive bys that white center. there is no cookies and milk after school in the office like they said. the teen ager here are treated with no respect i swear if she could she would move them all out. the pool is often closed on a saturday for no reason. the rules are diferent for everyone. dont try to view your opinon with the manager she will give you a eviction notice for the tone in your voice even though she will down talk to you. I never seen so many cops they are here every day several times a day. this is sad i feel more safe in white center. I hope someday they will get a manager here who care for the kids in there community, but i ma not staying here to see that good luck if you choose to live here

the comment below this one is management,just give it a little more time there will be some kind of murder they sure have come close with the girl getting raped and all the drug use and traffic there isn't a lot the police can or will do so your smart to get out because no one really cares it's all about the money or lack of.If I can help it I won't live in a apt with all the golf cart hoes that's all they are.good luck!!!

There is milk and cookies prepared every morning but alot of the times people come and take them all (the teenagers). When you live in a section 8 property there is always going to be problems its not all peachy keen all the time. Every property has there downfalls and Heatherwood is a very good complex. It is one of the nicer section 8 housing developments. Atleast there are no murders like some of the others out there. The teenagers get treated how they need to be treated. They don't get punished by there parents then take it apon themselves to go onto the computers and look up Porno, or better yet pee or even poop in the pools, they steal the golfcarts and roll them, they steal shopping carts, drink in the hallways, smoke in the hallways and the list can go on and on. Those teenagers have been here since the complex opened up and have not changed whatsoever. And the cop activity is to prevent theft and mulascious acts from the said above teens.

Note to White Center lady....you are my neighbor, lol! FYI people, White Center lady is one of the none desirables they are getting rid of; hence, her gang like kid.
