Overall, not too bad...

I lived here for six months in 2002. Apartment was clean when I moved in, and most of the very few maintenance problems I encountered while there were readily fixed. My porch light kept going out, and they never could fix that for some reason.
Noise: Walls are thin. I could hear every move (and I do mean every move) of the people above me. Bathroom noises were particularly annoying. They also sometimes had get-togethers on their balcony right above my bedroom, so I could foget sleeping that night.
Buildings face each other with little space between buildings, and bedrooms face this area, so whenever people come home late and have the audacity (:-)) to speak while outside, you can hear it, even if your window is closed.
Office staff was generally nice, particularly the manager. There was a young woman in the office, however, who would get a bit snippy if you voiced a concern or mentioned a problem, but I?ve seen worse, so I wouldn?t be too concerned over that since even she was generally pretty nice.
I?ve read the reviews of lots of complexes in the Seattle area, and it seems that most are generally bad as far as thin walls and noise and rude staff, so you could do much worse than to live here.
One more thing: I see the price for the 1-bedroom is now up to 795. I paid 695, and I really can?t see paying more than that. I?m wondering how they can justify such an increase given the awful economy in the Seatle area.
