I just wanted to let you know that the following complex is VERY ----unfriendly. I called to inquire about a very gorgeous looking place and asked about their 1br apartments.

When the lady found out that my "partner" was female she immediately started to push 2 bedrooms instead of the 1 bedrooms. I explained that no, we were a couple, and wanted to share a bedroom.

Miraculously, she then told me that she didn't, in fact, have any vacancies at all and mumbled something about it being a "family oriented complex". I don't know about you, but my partner IS my family. I can't believe you would allow discriminatory complexes to list their apartments with you. I feel very violated and hurt by this practice. It's illegal to discriminate against someone based on sexual orientation.

I'm sorry about your experience, I hope you know that the vast majority of residents don't feel that way. We,in fact, have a neighbor who is --- and we think the world of this family, as do the rest of the neighbors.
