I moved in August 2005. The first 3 days were wonderful! It was very clean, brand new carpet and seemed to be very quite. After the 3rd day, come to find out that there is an insect problem in my Unit. I found myself vacuuming up 40 potatoe bugs in a day! I called the managment about this problem and they ignored me for 24 days until I informed them of my legal right to have this taken care of immediatly. I brought in a bag full of the bugs that I gathered for the evening and dropped it in there desk just to get there attention. After arguing with them, they finally had someone spray around the outside the complex. The weather grew colder and that seemed to help the problem until now. They are coming back! Also, the maitenece man, no longer works here, would come in for various repairs without warning or written notice. 1 time he walked into my apartnemt as I was getting ready for a shower! I complained to the managment about his illegal entry and they didn't take me seriously until I put it in writting and explained that if this happens again, without written notice and within the law, then they will be charged 100.00 per entry. It helpes to read your renters right! They began to take me seriously and my privacy was then respected. From now on they do put it in writting if they plan on entering my apartment. But the bug issue has not been resolved and is very disgusting and emberassing. I also had my car broken into. My parking spot is located on the side of a building with no lighting! They have not put in lighting there yet. The front door to my apartment doesn't shut all the way and isn't fitted correctly which leaves a very large gap between the door and the door frame. You can look inside my apartment with the gap in my front door. They ahve yet fixed this correctly. Looks as if it has been broken into before. My neighbor upstairs is VERY loud and STOMPS all the time! 2am, very loud! Managment has done nothing for the noise. Overall, I'd say consider these things before renting. The price is low but I would pay more to get an apartment with no bug problems and a neighbor that doesn't party all night.
