When we were looking for a place to live for about six months we looked everywhere, but ended up choosing Pinnacle Sonata. Our apartment was empty nearly 1 month before we actually moved in yet when we moved in it looked as though the only thing done was the carpet was cleaned (and very poorly at that).The walls had large patch jobs from screw holes and nothing had been repainted (you could still see the patches, the nail holes from previous pictures and scuffs all over).The carpet had black around every edge that seemed to be stained because it never came up when I tried to clean it. The heaters don't work and the fireplace only heats up the living room. The cabinets were not cleaned well there was sticky brown goo all over the edges of the cabinet doors and drawers. The neighbors upstairs I am sure don't mean to be loud but you can hear when they walk, do laundry, go to the bathroom, take showers, cook etc. The parking sucks sooooo bad. When there is a party at the cabana, everyone at the party parks in the lot closest to the cabana but when that small lot is full (parking for 4 buildings) where are the actual people that live there supposed to park' You either have to park literally a mile away in the business park or park illegally in front of the mailbox, the maintenance garage, a handicapped spot or along one side of the driveway, however if you do this plan on getting a warning from the office or getting towed. We have two cars and 1 is always in the garage, so with the other one we have to fight for parking. If you live on a "basement" level be prepared to fall down the stairs in the dark due to there being no landscape lighting at all. If you live at the bottom side of the community plan on hearing the freeway noise 24 hours a day.

Although there is a lot of negatives about this community the staff seems to be nice.

As in other postings I hope at the time we move out we will not get gouged. We wil see...
