Solid, but nothing special

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001
For starters, our apartment was very quiet. I can't recall ever hearing our neighbors except in the breezeway outside the front door. The insulation in these apartments is outstanding.
One thing that torqued me was the lack of lights (and I mean none) in the living room or bedrooms. What is that' So plan on getting several stand lights.
The appliances and fixtures are new, but obviously low-grade. No microwave (not a problem for us, we have an ancient nuclear-powered one =). The dishwasher pretty much requires you to pre-wash the dishes.
The shower is low-flow, so plan on removing that, unless you like 20-minute showers, and that all-day soap scum feeling.
The floorplan and size of the apartment were uninspired. I don't know if it's just me, but I'd trade a lot for a big living room (this didn't have one). We actually had a handicapped-equipped apartment, so it was probably larger than most.
Parking was adequate where we were, never really had a problem. The back areas of the complex have a nightmarish lack.
I'm moving to another complex to shorten my drive-time, and to get a larger living area.
I don't know how to justify recommending this complex if I don't want to stay here myself. If Bothell is where you want to live, then this place will do.
