Rent is way too high and their leases have way too many loopholes for them to charge you fees. They will rape you for your money!! Utilities aren't included, the fee to move out early is super high, and they charge you a month-to-month fee if you dont have a 6 month lease or longer, even if you've just finished a year long lease. My neighbor likes to yell swear words at 7am at dogs barking, threatening to kill it, and I can feel the walls shake when people nearby close their doors.

To you cutietinker, I have been living here for 2 years now, and don't you think you were a bit harsh?? I have had bad experiences here as well. Holland Residential did just take over management in late July, however, the way the transition went was absolutely horrible. Where do you come off to say that this user posted something about the new residential company? Nothing I read in his/her post said anything about the new residential company! If you are going to bad mouth someone at least you can go off of what they said! I live in a 1x1 apartment, and it is WAY expensive compared to other places in the area, maybe YOU should do YOUR research!!! For only 650 square feet, I am paying over $1000 a month!! If I didn't sign at least a 10 month renewal lease my rent would've gone up to $1500 a month! For you to tell someone you don't even know that they are a deadbeat and don't pay their bills, what are you saying about yourself???? You don't even know this person! So, grow up and realize that everyone has different experiences and opinions and everyone is entitled to those. And if you are going to form an opinion on someone, get your facts strait!

Oh wow, what a surprise. I come back on here to say how wonderful it is to be back in this community and I find people are commenting back. Gee did I hit a nerve with even more peolpe that don't like to hold up the terms of the lease THEY themselves signed, hmmmm.... Interesting that it's also all "anonymously" posted. Not even clever enough to come up with a username or are you just too lazy? And by the way, I have never worked in Apartment Management in any way. I did get all my deposit back because I cleaned and did all my touch-ups and minor repairs myself. I took pride and responsibility for my home and because of that I have gotten my deposit back from every apartment I've ever lived in. Yes, I do have opinions and I am entitled to them, just like anyone else. I still think that any loser that expects the apartment complex to pay their bills, or to give them special treatment just because they are brats, are deadbeats.

Looks like I hit a nerve with cutieinker! One more thing I would like to mention when I lived at Stonemeadow. My neighbors were drug dealers. I honestly don't think they check references or criminial history on their tenants. Their pit bull almost attacked my husband. The girl who was walking him, said " just go, don't look at the dog, he's trained to attack men!" Look cutieinker, maybe you did get all your deposit back; and maybe you DON'T work for Stonemeadow. All I'm saying is a majority of people that lived at stonemeadow have had HORRIBLE experiences with them.
