I moved to Surrey Park in February 2008. I was in a difficult situation and needed to move A.S.A.P. Eli, the apartment manager, as awesome. He kept me very informed throughout the entire application process. Once, I moved in, I was very pleasantly surprised! The complex is the most quiet apartment complex I have ever lived in. I never hear my neighbors (even with the windows open in the hotter weather). Everyone seems pleasant. We all wave at each other or say hello in passing. As a 25 year old girl living life single for the first time, I feel very safe here! The apartment is really cute, and very easy to decorate! Parking is great! I have a carport, but my roommate who parks wherever, never has had a problem. There is always spaces open right in front of my building. It is great here! I don't know anything about bad parking, or a bad manager, I don't ever even smell cigarette smoke. Yes, the management isn't here on a very regular basis, but if you give him a call or leave a note, I've always gotten a prompt response! If you do some checking around... Surrey Park is significantly lower than all the other complexes in the area, especially for the quality!

The manager me and the other reviewers experienced was a woman. Since you said your manager is male, she may have been fired due to her poor management skills. You also claim the apartment is quiet. Which floor do you live on? Because we lived on the 2nd floor and could hear everything, even the neighbor upstairs peeing in their toilet.

There is no second floor to this place, they are all ranch style with an attic. Maybe you have the wrong community?
