Willina Ranch is a mess, save your money and find another location. You dont want to deal with these folks. There is no customer service here and no responsiblity.

We just returned last night from a week long vacation and were taking advantage of the "pet care" service supposedly offered by Willina Ranch. We used the service in the past before the change in management and had only good things to say. This time however, we are very pissed. We registered the dates of our trip (filled forms out) and requested daily visits to change water and food and occasional cleaning of litter boxes. We also asked some friends to drop by a couple times during our absence to check on the cats and play with them. Give them some stimulus. What we learned is the staff came by twice! With a week in between visits. When our friends visited 2 days after we left, water dishes and food were empty and one of the cats had spit up (was hard and clearly a day old). Our friends ended up visiting daily after that point and noted that staff only showed up the day before we came home.

We are now planning to consult with our legal representative to see what action we can take against this. There is a good chance if we hadnt had friends dropping by that the cats would have been sick or even one might have passed away. When a cat stops eating, there is a huge risk of liver damage. This irresponsibility is unacceptable.

Other reasons to avoid this place:

1)Office staff will conveniently forget conversations, agreements, etc. I can only imagine what they will recap as their story if we take legal action.
2)Parking is lacking (of course almost all appts have that problem)
3)When new management started, we received a threat to evict because we were paying for parking places. Odd we hadnt had reserved parking places for months before that point but rather then contact us on the fact that we were not paying the $60 a month they threatened to evict.
4)Appliances are crap. Smaller then normal laundry, fridge, and a stove that takes 2.5 times estimated to preheat.
5)Weve had a light in our parking area without a fixture since we moved in. No sign that will ever get fixed.

Thank god we are moving out in 10 days. Can't come soon enough for me.
