I'm a handicapped 60 yr old & have a very hard time walking, so tend to let my husband take over, since it's painful for me to get around. Spouse placed a hold on a 2nd floor Willina Ranch apartment, at a time when we were under extreme pressure to move, having sold our longtime home. I had only seen Willina Ranch from the car & it looked VERY NICE, with well-tended grounds & attractive modern construction, but after thinking it over for a few days, I realized that living with stairs was just too much for me to handle. Although the time to get a refund had elapsed, we requested some or all of our holding deposit back, but were at first denied. I then explained the situation in an email to Willina Ranch management, & they immediately phoned & graciously agreed to return half of our deposit, which was very generous of them, as they were NOT required to do so. I recommend this apartment building to anyone who wants a secure, attractive, clean rental, with understanding managers!
