We moved here with a 6 month lease.

The apartment itself is nice - nice upgrades, kitchen, full size W/D, etc.

Our unit faced away from the freeway so the noise wasn't too bad.

However, when our lease ended, we were told that if we wanted to stay we would have to pay $95 more a month, plus a $200 per month fee if we did month to month.

With these increases we would be spending anywhere from $1300 to $1500 if we wanted to sign a longer lease.

The only lease they would offer us was an 8 month, nothing shorter, even though we signed on with a 6 month.

We would have considered staying longer but the increase was far too much.

$1300 a month for a 2 bed/2 bath with NO storage is ridiculous! Although, after reading other reviews of apartments in the area, it seems that this is pretty typical, so I guess you have to take the good with the bad.

The neighbors below us smoked at all hours of the day AND night, making it impossible to keep the windows open for too long.

The neighbors across the hall from us ALWAYS left their garbage on their porch, and WE were the ones that received a letter telling us this was against the rules! Parking is horrible as well.

We only have 1 car between 2 people and still have a hard time finding a spot.

They have 4 handicap spots in one area, which no one ever parks in, taking up hard to come by parking spaces.

I know that handicap spots are required, but 4' The only covered parking available for rent was at the other end of the complex.

Not convienient at all.

We've looked at other apartments in the area, and this one is probably the nicest looking of them all on the inside.

The convienance to the freeway is great, but along with that comes the noise.

If our neighbors didn't smoke we probably would have stayed, but we couldn't stand it anymore.

Too bad you can't choose your neighbors when you move somewhere!
