I have to say that I think that people who complain about not getting their deposits back should take a better look at how they leave their apartment.

If you actually read the lease that you sign for your apartment you will see that it says that you have to put the apartment back to the condition that you received it in.

That is why you do your walk through with the manager when you move in.

So when you say that you cleaned when you moved out, yada, yada, yada, thats great, but you probably didn't have it PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED like they did before you moved in.

I just think that people should try reading what they sign their name to agree to.

Apparently this author has never had to deal with the management...I thought the apartments were a cut above others until I moved out and then got ripped off by the Willina Ranch corporate management.

Maybe you misunderstood some of those "complaining" about not getting deposits back. The problem is not just getting screwed out of the security deposit after leaving the apartment in pristine condition (close enough to professional, there is something called "normal wear and tear"), but getting a huge bill of RIDICULOUS, UNEXPLAINABLE charges upon move out. So maybe you should keep your comments to yourself unless you truly understand the situation. And who would want to live in an apartment complex that upon move out, you have to hire a lawyer to settle a ridiculous bill? Come on now. And funny how a few people have had a good experience with management, but most others think otherwise. Glad you're happy with the apartment, just wait until you move out!!

well, your wrong. The management has always been helpful and consistant. They always follow up with us and are friendly. you also say that you got"ripped off by corporate management" so why take it out on the community itself.. move on or get a lawyer already!

I agree with the tenant...that the office staff are all very friendly. I've seen certain tenants come into the office with an aggressive attitude and both Dominique and Genoa remain calm and always trying to find a solution! Why do people take out their own personal issues on others?! And then the same people wonder why there are wars all over the world...when they themselves have such bad attitudes!
