The management lived in the townhomes next to mine and were very noisy (loud stereos you could hear even in the parking lot). Yet when I complained they said that the managers and assistant managers would never do that. I requested a repair, and instead of giving 24 hour notice as required by law they showed up while I wasn't home, entered the apt. and fixed my closet by cutting up one of MY hangers and bending it up to hold the rod, then left the rest of the hanger on the floor for ME to clean up. When I complained they denied the whole thing. I then spoke to the owner in Seattle and got permission to break my lease and move immediately. I did not want those people around my apt or me if they were not going to follow the law. They then went around to my neighbors and told them to watch out (trying to make me sound like a problem). I threw out a bunch of stuff preparing to move, and the mgr actually went into the dumpster to look through what I threw away! Obviously when I spoke to the owner I got them in a lot of trouble and they were trying to find a way to defend themselves. He reprimanded them and threatened to fire them. Too bad he didn't. BTW, I got my deposit back (thanks to the owner).
