I'm still currently living at Bremerton Gardens Apartments and I will continue to do so until my lease is up. I have looked at all of the negative comments that people have written and I can second on almost all of them. I think my place is good for the price, however, I definately second on the mold and dust issue. Dust and mold are so bad...within days, maybe even hours. I have to clean daily just so that my place is
-near- presentable. Secondly, the tile in my kitchen is horrible and the paint job of the entire place is beyond horrid. Like a previous tenant has said, they paint over EVERYTHING. Half my cubboards don't close in the kitchen because everythings been painted over. Yes another thing I can second on is everything is two pronged. How pathetic and pathetic of me that I didn't notice. You will have to buy 3 prong adapters for everything. My place was NOT cable ready. I had to have the poor comcast guy rerun a new cable line for me to have cable. I absolutely can't stand not having a fan in the bathroom or above the stove but once again my fault for not noticing. The hinge on my back door, screws fell out so it doesn't work anymore. As a previous tenant has said about the wax jobs on the floors...it just tries to make them look better from the wear. I have some burn spots on mine right in the middle of the living room. Last but not least, my rent check from my bank was 4 days late and I was threatened to be evicted from my place. FOUR DAYS. How outragious!! I'm military and I use online bill pay for everthing. They even charged me a 75$ late fee which I ended up paying so I had to pay then 700$ instead of 625$. Please tell me that is not crap' Management was awfully rude (Chuck) when I brought this up to him that since a holdiay had just passed it usually takes a day or two for the mail to arrive. He wasn't going to listen to it and I better give it to him or I'll get a evicted. After 4 days. I've never heard of such a thing...and he's retired military! It's not like I couldn't pay my rent, I had the money. You would think that looking at my previous record of where I lived he could rely on me to pay my rent but he didn't even look at that either. I even got accused of raising fighting pitbulls in my apartment and when I called him back after listening to his rude voicemail about this...he continued to be rude after I told him he can come to my place and look if he wanted to. So all I have to say is if you really don't need a place -that- bad or your looking for something that's not temporary...don't go here. If it's temporary...it's fine..maybe for like 6 mos. Just don't be a problem. At the end of my lease, I will make sure I contact the company (his boss) if I have any problems getting my deposit back.

Yeah, That rent thing annoyed me too. I lost my check card, so I was transferring all my money over to my credit card till it came. I had lived there for over a year. Anyway. I forgot that I had done this and paid him with a check on the 2nd. Immediatly I realized my mistake. i tried to call but the office was closed. I go there the very next day during my lunch hour and tell him what happened. Now, we could pay with a credit card. Easy fix. Cancel the check and let me pay with my card. "No",...."No, what do you mean no". I just told you that I transfered all the money over and it is going to bounce. So in the end, that month I paid rent, late fee, bounce check penalty from him and bounce check penalty from my back. Then to top it off, I get a nasty note from him that I can not ever use checks again. Like I am some kind of delinquient that doesn't pay her bills on time. It was an honest mistake, a mistake I tried to correct immediatly and could of easily been fixed. I was treated like a a a, I don't know. A_sh_le!
