Great First Apartment

This is the first apartment I ever really owned by myself, and was a very good choice for that. These apartments are pretty large (I live in a one bedroom), have wood floors and blinds on the windows. I must complain about the stone-age kitchen appliances, as my freezer continually frosts over to a point of needing to defrost it (which means shutting down the entire refrigerator for a day) and two out of the four burners on my teeny weeny electricstove do not work. There is also no counter space or outlets in the bathroom, but I have learned to deal. Also, you have to pay quarters to do your laundry in the basement, which sucks on weeks when you're running low on funds. Heat is electric so your bill goes WAY up in the winter time. My lease is up next month and after a year of living here I am looking forward to finding a bigger and better apartment. Chuck is nice and the managers fix things when they are asked, but I am ready to advance my living quarters to the next level of sophistication.
