Ensure you have your lease reviewed by the Navy Housing Office. Chucky-boy will try and brow-beat you and tell you "no" to which your response should be: "That's fine, I'll just report this property to the local housing as refusing to abide by Navy regulations concerning the requirement for them to review all off-base housing leases for it's servicemembers." He'll scream/whine/moan/groan, but will know you are right. If for whatever reason he still refuses, ENSURE YOU REPORT CHUCKY-BOY TO NAVY HOUSING (they know he's a crook, hate his ass and relish the opportunity to call him out at any opportunity).
If you do move in, when it comes time to move out, take his "cleaning list" over to Navy Housing for review. There will be many things on there he will require WHICH ARE NOT IN THE LEASE. Housing will tell you what and what you do not have to do. Furthermore, ask Housing to stand your walk-through with you when you check-out. Chucky-boy will try and keep your security deposit, but he also knows he is always only a phone call away to the Admiral's staff up at the Subbase from being put on the Navy Region Northwest "off limits" housing list. Thus, when you have housing there with you (as my wife and I did) things will go smooth, real smooth. ;)
If you otherwise have any other problems with him, don't be shy about going to Navy Legal at the Shipyard either. They can, and will help you with your situation.
BTW, don't be intimidated/impressed by Chucky-boy claiming to be a retired USMC Officer. The guy is a pathologial liar who likes telling tall tales, but as far as him being "retired military", that is nothing more than a claim he tries playing off on the junior enlisted who live there as a control measure.
Good luck shipmates!

Thanks for that information. It's to bad that most people, like myself, didn't look at this website prior to renting at this place. I really think that they should post something specifically about this place on the Naval Base so more people have a clue if it hasn't already been done. Because I certainly didn't know about all of this until after I went through all the crap I went through with this phony.
