I used to live in Park Ridge Apartments

Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2003
They are spacious apartments and most in are good condition, but.....
The only big problem we had was the apartment managers. The ones currently still there as of 5/03. We lived there almost 4 years without any problems from any of the other previos managers. They seem like very nice people for a while until you start to hear what they are saying about some of the residents who are renters there. Don't think that you are special though and assume that they won't talk about you to the other residents.
The complex had been sold 3 times over the course of those 4 years we rented there and the rent was raised by almost 30% by the new owners and they took away the free cable. ( And in the midst of the everchanging ownership, our pet deposit was lost somewhere in their bookkeeping.We never did get our half of the deposit back.
Although to be honest I have to mention that the units were remolded a bit (new paint, new carpets). But overall, the price increase wasn't appropiate for the quality of the units and the quality of management.
P.s. And we left on good terms at the end of our lease. So we're not exactly disgruntled tenants.
