When my husband and I first got married this was our first apartment. The manager was so nice... we signed the lease and everything seemed to be fine. BUT THEN... the manager turned into an evil wench!! She was so rude and cocky... always sarcastic, smelt terrible and talked and cursed like a sailor. She was not a professional, not a kind person and definitely not a lady. She was a nightmare. We regretted moving into this apartment immediately.

The windows are terribly thin. You can hear EVERYTHING through them. Including people just walking outside! It's a nasty area with a bunch of gangsters, beggars, and trashy people... The walls are so thin that you can even hear people's conversations going on... there are nasty basements with small washer and dryer units that are absolutely terrible... the basement is cold, dark and drab and they expect you to go down there in that unsafe, unpleasant, dirty, nasty area to wash your clothes.... The bathroom is an absolute joke. It has a big freezing cold tub just sitting on a nasty floor, no shower, no nothing. They DON'T do repairs, maintenance or anything else.

The worst part was definitely the manager.. I can't stand her!! When we moved out.. I spent 6 hours cleaning the apartment (it was my first apartment and I didn't know how clean it had to be to get my full deposit back)... I bleached everything spotless... I swept, mopped, scrubbed, dusted, vaccumed, (we were only there 2 months) and then when I moved out... the manager told me that I had to turn in my key by midnight or else.. no refund. Well.. we had to go to church that night.. so we turned in the keys at about 11:00 p.m.... I just dropped them through the mail slot... she told us we would get our deposit in about 30-60 days... we were moving out of state back to my husbands home state... well.. about 40 days later.. after repeatedly sending her letters and calling her.. she sent us a letter saying that we didn't turn our keys on in time so we have forfeited our deposit!! I called her and she just yelled and cursed at me and hung up. Told me just to sue her. Well.. I couldn't do much about it being several states away so we just said forget it and moved on.. but this apartment by FAR... was the ABSOLUTE WORST APARTMENT EXPERIENCE of my life. Please! Tell all of your friends and family to stay away!! Seriously. Maybe we can put this wench out of business like she deserves.

Just a note: since '05 they have changed management and put showerheads in the bathroom. Victory!
