Here is the simple truth, I have lived here two years and this is what I have seen. Almost monthly police visits for domestic violence, A police raid across the street. Homeless people and crack heads coming and going. They have front doors to the stairways that lock but when a little gang banger moves in because this apartment sponsers temporary housing they keep the doors open so their druggie friends can come in. They found fecal matter on a stairway, A bum somehow got in the locked basement and was found sleeping in the laundry room. Maitenance is a joke, Took four months to even get someone to look at all the problems myplace had with walls, windows, and stoves, Now its been almost six since then and the promised repair has not occurred. The gravel pit they have as a parking lot is only sporadically lit up by the lights but mostly it is just dark and dangerous. And if someone decides to have friends over...good luck finding a place to park you won't have to pay for.
