I have lived in Viewcrest for 5 months and will be moving out next month when my lease ends. This is not an overall terrible place to live, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you need to take advantage of the low income benefits. I have found management to be very rude and they seem to have an overall lack of a soul. I came home one day to find a notice to vacate because I owed money that they couldn't give me an explanation for. When I called to find out what was happening they told me they would call back the next day. I didn't recieve a call, so I called two days later and they told me they would call on monday (it was friday). I never got a call back so I called them yet again and they told me not to do anything till I heard back from them. This NEVER happened, so I have done nothing but I am wondering if this will come up at the end of the lease.

The neighbors are wierd and creepy. The neighbor right next to me watches me come in and out of my apartment so he can corner me and talk to me about nothing in particular. The neighbor on the other side of me keeps her TV up loud all the time so I can hear that and enjoy her soap operas with her. It seems as though I may be the only person in my quad who has a job since they are ALWAYS home.

My apartment always smells like gas from the heater, which scares me a little bit, but I haven't died yet (knock on wood). As far as parking goes, I haven't had much of a problem with it since like I said no one else has a job, so no need for a car.

The noise level in this apartment is horrible if you work any shift other than 0700 in the morning. I sometimes work shifts in the evening or on graves, and for these shifts I can never get any sleep. Children are constantly, I cannot stress constantly enough, screaming for no reason other than to wake me up. The maintenance personnel drive a crappy old gas golf cart around all day long making just as much noise as they can. I would almost swear that they drive this antiquated piece of crap around my window all morning long just to make sure I am awake. The only time I see maintenance doing anything is when they are mowing the lawn once a week. When they do mow the lawn they blow the clippings onto my porch or onto the sidewalk. Since I have streetside parking they often blow the clippings onto my car. By the way you are not allowed to wash your car on the property.

The bathroom seems like it came off of a small airplane. There is barely any clearance between the door and the toilet. My bathtub has been stained with god knows what since the day I moved in, and it will not come clean no matter what I use. Police are out here quite often, which I guess in one aspect is comforting because if you need help they know how to get to the apartments.

All in all, not a horrible place to live, but I am not impressed.
