Me and my eldest son (2 yrs old) moved into these apartments back October 2007 as it was our only choice, we needed low-income assistance and well, we chose this place. I'm thinking living in my car would have been a better option! The neighbors are 90% of the time rude and disrespectful! The fact these walls are paper thin doesn't help. My neighbors blare their music so loud my picture frames shake and some times even fall off the walls that's how hard their bass is bumping, not to mention my son doesn't get to nap or he gets woken up from his naps. It's ridiculous. Sometimes the music starts as early as 630-700am if we aren't woken up by them "doing their business" (if you catch my drift). I think I'm more disappointed in the neighbors than I am in the complex. The apartments are cute enough if you dont have a ton of stuff (like me) to have to keep in it. Mold is a bit of an issue. I continue to clean, but it seems to always return and no matter how many times I mention it to management, they don't seem to do a damn thing about it, but whatever. When we can afford to move out of this place, we will be, you can count on that. But like I'd said, I'm mostly disappointed in the neighbors, at least the ones directly to the right of us. Everyone else in the court seems to be okay. There are a ton of kids my son's age for him to play with when I let him go outside, but otherwise...ya...if you are looking for a place, search elsewhere...I'm sure you can find much better...try Griffon Glen. I hear they are better low-income apartments. Good Luck!
