When we first moved in, in 2007 the airport noise and rent wasn't too bad. $985 for a two bedroom, one bathroom. Our car got broken into and stolen the first week we moved in. Within two years the rent shot up to $1149 for the same unit. The third runway opened up at the Sea-Tac airport which is getting A LOT more traffic than originally stated by the Port Authority. All day and all night you're overpowered by the sound of jet engines. Car alarms get tripped constantly by the sound of the jets and will generally squawk for several minutes before the owner realizes it's theirs. Over a hundred parking spaces got taken away so now there is no visitor parking and residents scramble to keep their own space. The "renovations" people keep mentioning are mostly cosmetic on the outside. They redid all of the siding and gutters and replaced the windows. The insides are the same. There IS a pool and work-out room but the pool gets closed for maintenance a lot and is always closed on Sundays.

The nicest thing I could say is the maintenance crew is really helpful and speedy when it comes to fixing or swapping out appliances. The location to I-5 and 99 is pretty nice and there are a lot of grocery stores and restaurants in the area.

Even still, we're moving.
