If you like your rent raised while still in a lease go ahead and live here

I have personally watched this building go through three resident managers and I am disgusted by the management company s disregard for the tenants.
The manager that handled my move in was a con-artist. He delayed my move in and kept requiring more money, come to find out later that he was pocketing money from the tenants and it took the management company over a year to figure it out. In addition to that he would cut covers when fixing apartments between tenants. For example in my apartment he did touch up paint and glued broken fixtures back together instead of painting the whole apartment and replacing broken fixtures.
The second manager was great, she cleaned up the property and landscaped the flower beds with beautiful plants and made the building seem more welcoming. I gave this manager a list of problems with my apartment and she scheduled repair work and solved issues quickly. She had an open door policy and was available whenever she was needed. Noise and parking complaints were handled immediately and most of the time without police or a tow truck. This manager was let go in October 2008.
The current manager is like a ghost; she is never in her office, discourages tenants from coming to her apartment door and lives by posting notes on doors and playing voicemail tag because she never answers her phone. The property looks like bums live there; there is garbage everywhere, broken down cars and the pool area is disgusting with a toppled over gazebo and an algae infested pool. Since this manager took over there have been suspicious people hanging around and moving in and I fear for my safety when walking to my car.
I hope the management company pulls their head out of their ass and replace the current manager.

Again, strange how another anymous review is posted... I live at the property too and find all the complaints rather bothersome. The current manager was hired for a part time position and keeps those hours. Whenever I need to reach her I simply call and if she happens to not be available, I simply leave her a message. She has a seperate life other than the property and is currently pregnant so as far as her being a ghost... There is life outside Princess Anne, I'm just wondering why others haven't figured that out. If your rent was looked at being raised it was because when the current manager was hired all the files were in such disarray that everything had to be done over. She has gone above and beyond her responsibilities and yet the same bitter people keep complaining. As far as garbage, I see her picking the parking lot up often and it's not very realistic to plant flowers when it's still snowing outside lol. All of the other esidents I have spoken with have agreed that when they have a saftey concern she addresses it promptly and solves the issue. Why are you still here if it's sooooo bad? Move!

This is the most accurate review I have read for this property. The person who responded above (and the writers of the reviews who say the place is good) must be either the manager or friends of the manager. As soon as my lease is up I'm out of there.

Wow, I feel sorry for you. You can't even post your own username with this review. Are you scared that the non-existing-suspicious people will come and find you? Dude, "suspicious people hanging around and moving in and I fear for my safety when walking to my car" ? WOW, save that for a soap opera! This is the REAL world! Are you even ready to handle it?!
