Just don't.

I lived here for 14 months. When I first moved in, I was a little weary of the carpets & general condition of the house. The carpets had been white at some point, yet they looked as though an engine had been torn down in the middle of the room. The landlord informed me that they were replaced before the last tenet had lived there, and they only replaced them every other move. The kitchen cabinets are made of some sort of particle board, and would crumble apart under the edge of the counter. The lino had gouges and tears in it, but I was desperate to move and thought I would just deal with it.

They are not built soundly. The upstairs neighbor had four little hellions that would run and stop from sun up to sun down. The stomping caused my light covers on the ceiling to fall numerous times. Lets see... The parking lot faces the bedrooms in every apartment, so when one neighbors car alarm went off for 6 hours, everyone stayed awake and the landlord would do nothing about it. There is no assigned parking, and it's impossible to get a space within 50 yards of your apartment after 6:30 pm. The landlords took two weeks to come fix the garbage disposal which stopped working, and I was washing dishes in the tub. They wouldn't do anything about the neighbors who had dogs with fleas and infested every apartment in the complex. The neighboring apartments are home to disabled/mentally impaired residents who yell and sing loudly all night and day. People would cut through the apartments, right next to your windows, and sneak through the fence. The landlords never fixed the fence so they couldnt. There is also a bar right next door that plays loud music until 2 am on top of all this.

Its also almost impossible to get out of the parking lot half the time due to the location. The last straw for me was coming home from work, seeing cops everywhere, and learning that there had been a shooting. The people responsible for it weren't kicked out. Of course, the landlords are impossible to track down until your 20 minutes late on rent. Then they knock on your door incessantly until they get the check.

Please, just save yourself the hassle and dont.
