THE REALITY IS THE REALITY AND TRUTH...

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
The truth about Adagio should be stated clearly.
While the apartments were being built in 2002, the area around them was pristine and without alot of business or traffic.
I moved into Adagio in 2004, granted amenity, then began the construction of new businesses around Adagio. It was constant noise, bigtime noise and dust and chemicals and equipment until just recently the construction is about done, with the surrounding area now all businesses, which delights them, yet not those who thought they were moving into a countryish area of quietude.
The rent on the apartment I reside within was with a rent raise of nearly $200 within two years, with utilities being raised three times.
There are still alot of chemical type fumes, even inner building, which seem to elude resolvement.
What people should know who do not know this area is that there are two to three times per year that the winds can blow for many days with speeds of up to 85 MPH. There have been ice storms which cause the breaking of branches and trees.
Within close proximity, perhaps an hour or two drive from Covington, snow for cross country skiiing available.
Also, for those with allergy problems, Adagio is a 'pet friendly' community, canines mostly. They are able to use the lawns to do their 'duties'.
Anytime I have contacted management with a maintenance request, they have responded very well and in a timely fashion.
We have had several changes in management office in the past two years.
As for the apartments themselves, as with all apartment living, noise can be a problem, depending on the sensitivity of one's hearing, It has mostly been construction noise bigtime and their pollution, with alot of traffic now, since Kohl's Department Store has opened.
There are sidewalks for those in wheel chairs and for those who like to walk, with crosswalkss available and with many stores in the very near area. Several eateries, as well as a Wal Mart Store and other shops just opening now, with three grocery stores within walking distance.
The Metro bus system services the area from about 5:45 a.m. on weekdays, until around 10:30 p.m., with those hours changing on the weekends. There are morning and evening commuter buses which serve the area which go from Covington into Seattle, while they provide service to the Sounder Transit train in Kent, Wa. which has trains running in the morning, then in the late afternoon, mostly for commuters.
There is a United States Post Office nearby, as well as vehicle licensing office.
I think that is what most renters are interested in hearing.
Adagio sets back from Kent-Kangley Highway by about two to three blocks.
