With so much to choose from in the Des Moines/Kent/Federal Way areas find someplace else! I've only lived in this apartment complex for 6 days and I want OUT! We moved here from California and when our prior rental fell through we just took the first place that would let us have a room... BIG mistake. The office manager, ----, while very polite and nice is more of a sales person than a manager... she flat out lied to us about certain features (like "don't worry, those loud planes don't fly over very often, this is not a direct path to SeaTac)... it is directly under a flight path to SeaTac and every 2 minutes you will hear a loud, low, jet. Also she was very excited about the fact that our apartment was recently rennovated... a new shower curtain and toilet paper holder do NOT make up for the lack of window insulation (cold and NOISY), the bad paint job, cheap vinyl flooring, stickers left on under the paint, awkward layout, non-working keys, unfinished closets and LACK OF SPACE!!! All managements aside we were very concerned about the neighbord and she PROMISED us that this is a nice, safe, quiet area. Night one the neighbor left his music on high until 5am (literally, no exageration) and while bad neighbors are inevitable in an apartment the fact that my car was broken into last night (used a knife to slice right through my Jeeps window)and my belongings stolen is unacceptable. Night patrol' That's a joke! I also was promised a washer on day one and haven't seen it yet this week and a carport which hasn't been assigned. The only good thing going for this complex is that the leases are short (are my 6 months up yet') and that the management is flexible... that is a good quality for those who can't pay up front or don't have vaild ID... a bad quality for those of us wanting a safe place to live! While the grounds are pretty don't be fooled... this place is just plain ugly...
