Mice, Mice, Mice! These apartments have rodents in them. Apparently several residents I've spoken to, including myself, have mice hiding inside their homes & our homes smell like turds. It makes me sick to know that there were mice in my kitchen where I eat. To exacerbate the turd smell is the wastewater underneath the 1st floor apartments that comes up the vents in the hallway-yeah that's what that smell is! These apartments are bad for your health & totally unsanitary. The onsite management staff here is terrible!!! There is no communication between the mgmt & maintenance. Mgmt will set an appt for maintenance to come in & they won't even show up. Mgmt rarely answers the phone & when they do-good luck if they let you get a word in edgewise. Mgmt has scheduled parking lot renovations at 7am on Sunday mornings w/o notifying residents & then claiming that they didn't know the contractors were coming. They have allowed carpet vendors to install carpet @ 7am on Easter morning & after 10pm, which is supposedly during quiet hrs. Apparently the rules don't apply to them and when you go to complain to them-it's always-we didn't know-they always have excuses. It's pretty scary to think that mgmt doesn't know what's going on at their property! I heard they also manage Chelsea on the Bay so I would definitely not rent there either. Also I was told that this onsite team was terrible & to get receipts for my rent as the manager formerly managed a property in Bellevue & lost rents & rental documents. Parking is atrocious-it's a free-for-all where people store their cars in the visitor parking lot & never move them. And if someone parks in your spot-then you are screwed as there is no other parking available. There is black mold in all the apts-which is bad for your health-hello' This property needs some serious TLC & perhaps some mgmt with some common sense would help since their idea of fixing the parking problem is to cause more confusion by uprooting residents from their reserved spots & reassigning spots when many residents of our population don't speak english. You'd think maybe they could hire someone to type up a letter for them in spanish to efficiently solve the problem, but that would cause them too much trouble apparently. The mgmt wants to overinflate the rents here which is ridiculous since an old complex is an old complex-like an old car you can slap on new paint & other things, but it doesn't change the fact that it's an old car! For your own sanity steer clear of this place unless you like the idea of developing breathing problems or even death from black mold, have no vehicle, don't mind drug addicts smoking dope in the hallways, or prostitutes & johns getting it on in the parking lot. There is no courtesy patrol here so if you have parking problems, you're screwed! Mgmt also cut down all the beautiful trees at the complex. The lighting added was nice, but the electric work seems shoddy as every night the lights blink on & off- I heard that the lighting system that was added is not up to code & could potentially be a fire hazard from an electrician in the building who watched it being installed by some people who didn't even look like certified electricians. The residents here have had to endure shootings in the parking lot, the electrical room on fire, as well as, any other nightmare you can think of and mgmt says thanks for your patience. CON AM, thanks for nothing- if I were you I'd find some onsite staff who are capable of proactive thought and action. I'll be in touch if I develop any breathing problems! I miss the old mgmt, they were terrific!
