Worst place I've Ever lived

Let me start with the positive things about living at Garden Villa: 1. Very large sized apartments for the money 2. It has a pool 3. It's near the freeway
Negative: 1. The parking situation is ridiculous, having one friend come over generally means having them park on the street next to remains of a car that was broken into earlier in the day. 2. The neighborhood is what one would consider "ghetto". Although it's next to a very large nice-looking school, walking to the bus stop can be a bit terrifying. My apartment was broken into while I was home during the summer. I've also had to call the police because I thought I heard gunshots, apparently they were the neighbors throwing beer bottles at the building. 3. The management staff were anything but courteous, trying to treat the apartment complex like it's an upscale establishment, when it isn't. 4. The "fitness center" is a tiny room in the management office that is only open from 9-5, it has no air conditioning or air of any kind, and there are only a handful of machines, some of which don't even work. 5. Apparently getting carpets professionally cleaned before moving out is required. 6. Nonrefundable deposits don't go towards anything (most places they go towards replacing blinds and/or cleaning carpets) 7. The laundry room on site is a pain and not any cheaper than going to a laundromat.
The list goes on and on, I'm incredibly grateful that I was able to move out of this place, and I would never recommend it to any one else (and I was paying $100 less than you will be) 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
