From bad to worse

Management has abandoned this apartment, in favor of the Bay Club, which they also run. My family has lived here for two years, and will be moving out as soon as possible. It wasn't great when we moved in, but we "settled" because of location. There is a serious mildew problem, older fixtures and appliances, a tiny kitchen. But we were close to friends and work, and our neighbors were decent. We used to have someone in the office most days. Now there is a sign on the door directing people to the Bay Club. The lack of management shows. Dumpsters are usually overflowing (we actually haven't had trash service in over a week at this date). Lights are burned out in the parking lots and entryways. The fence was broken and took months to repair (it consisted of replacing wood slats). The playground is tiny and the slide has been cracked as long as we've been here. If a child ever falls, there is likely to be a lawsuit because the wood chips are packed down. They have also significantly lowered their standards for tennants. There were families and some older people living here. They are fleeing, as rude, dirty, inconsiderate younger people are moving in. We have music shaking our apartment most weekends and some week nights. We have made several complaints, but our neighbors remain. We will not. At least earlier management, though not great, was present. This is becoming a ghetto. Do not move here!
