I moved here from a real cesspool up north (it wasn't always a cesspool, but over the last few months - GAH!) and I LOVE it. My rent is REALLY reasonable, my apartment is quiet and even at night I don't feel anywhere NEAR as frightened or frustrated as I did in my old place. Yeah, I do get airport noise (hell I live under the flightpath) but for 600$ a month, and a clean secure environment with a super friendly management staff - well, I have no real complaints. Clean Secure Environment? What part of the 3 shootings between July and August, condoms on the stairs, trash and garbage around the bins have you missed?????? Just because the management staff has a smile on their face does not make this place a "great" place to live. Obviously you feel safe walking to your car without lights on in the parking lot. Some of us don't! I wouldn't recomend this place to a dog!

I have lived in the Marina Club apartments for 4 years and I can tell you what is here. Drug pushers that the management doesn't do anything about. Everyone gets their car broken into and the police wont do anything about it because they say they have better things to do. The management doesn't supply any security. Even if you have an older car your car will be either broken into. Mine has been broken into 2 times in the last 6 months. It is very common at the Marina Club Apartments. The management that owns the Marina club apartments also own the Bayview Apartments a block away. It is not better there either. Talk about the rent being reasonable, maybe you might think so at first but when you want to renew your lease it will cost you at least $100 more a month for a lease and $200 more a month if you do not sign a lease. I do not know who deluded you into thinking that this is a great place. Think again seriously about continuing to live there. The cornorer showed up 2 weeks ago and I still do not know what happened and that was for an apartment 2 away from mine.
