Every apartment has crappy things about it. I've heard my neighbors boombox a few times, and every now and then someone stomping up the stairs, but that's apartment life for you. The only noise complaint I have is that you can litterally hop over the fence ending property lines and be on I-5. That part management does neglect to mention when you move in.

My biggest complaint is other tenants using powder soap in the laundry room when it says in your lease not to use it. It left big nasty goo-ey messes all around the soap container and management never seemed to fix it when they would send someone in to clean the laundry room about once a month. I tried to post a sign to other tenants that was only taken down.

It's an old building but the outside is kept pretty decent. A few months ago, they had someone pressure wash and repaint the outside. I didn't like the couple notes I got taped to my door saying they would have someone come in and randomly inspect certain units for upkeeping or smoke detectors and you wouldn't know in advance if it was your unit. That I thought was b/s and an invasion of privacy that you could do nothing about.

Also, there are some mold issues, but if you're a clean person and clean on a regular basis, you can keep it to a minimum or non-existant. For the price you pay, what you get is pretty good. Complaints I have are with tenants, not with management or staff.
