the maintenance sorry to say, does not like to do their job. They have had me waiting for three weeks on different occasions to finally come fix little things. I was told the rent would only go up 25.00 - 50.00 more a month when I moved in, after a year it went up 150.00 dollars more a month plus 25.00 for a parking spot which was supposed to come with the town houses. Not the safest neighborhood, I see police here all the time. We are right down the street from Drug dealer central as well. Nice for what it is, but not worth the $$$$$$

I live down the street at a complex owned by the same management company and have experienced the same problems with the maintenance personell as well. They do not fix the problems in their buidings only mask them. Also there is a drug dealer living in our building and no one does anything, vicious dogs on complex when they say they have to be people friendly as well as nutured and are cearly not! The leasing agent lies through her teeth and only appears to help you! HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE, NOT A HOME!

I lived in Spinnaker Landing from 2002 to 2003, and I'm very sad to see that the maintenance, manager support, cleanliness, and safety have gone so far downhill. My experience was very good overall when I lived here, and while looking around this week for places to live around Des Moines (-I'm moving back to this area soon after over five years in Colorado, I stopped by Spinnaker Landing and the Regatta to see what might be available. Sadly, what I heard from current residents generally concurred with the postings on this site, and rent has increased dramatically over the years. Such a shame. I truly loved living here in 02-03 when Spinnaker Landing was a better maintained and a much friendlier place. Since I'm in the aviation business, I didn't mind the aircraft noise at all. In fact, I found it positively envigorating! But, if jets annoy you, you may want to consider someplace farther away from the approach and takeoff zones than Des Moines. However, as small communities in the Seattle area go, Des Moines is hard to beat overall.
