When I first moved in I was happy. Then about two to three months into moving in mold started to take over the ceiling in the bathroom. When I called the apartment management they came and looked at it. They did fix it, by basically painting over it. So needless to say, it's come back. Plus my dishwasher broke, and it took FOREVER to get that fixed...it licked water all over the floor and caused a bubble in the floor...which was never fixed. Then in the seond bedroom we found mold in the corner...which also took forever to finally get someone to fix. That poor guy had to cut out that piece of the wall and completely replace it. Gross.
Oh...and no dogs allowed...yet my neighbor has one...although you never hear the dog, the only reason I know it is there is because I've seen it. And then I had to take in my four year old nephew because his mom is a crackhead, and guess what happened. I got kicked out!! Apparently he was to loud, he is four!! I asked to wait until the end of the school year so my niece could finish with her class, but nope. I've been asked to leave before then..thankfully I found a place closer to her school.
So if you have small kids, please be advised...this apartment community is close to a retirment community. If you want to live here, you can't make any noise. And be aware of the mold. And sure, there is on site management---when they are in the office. Half the time they are in their house, which is just off site.
Good luck if you move in.
I do have to say I do love the location though. You can walk to the marina, to the QFC, and to many resturants. And the laundry facility does offer dollar wash, and 75 cent dryer...which is also nice. The grounds are also nice, you would never know that you are sitting next to a busy road...because you can hardly hear it.
Wow I wrote a lot...if you took the time to read it...thank you.

When she moved in she was a halfway decent neighbor but then things changed..it is not only her niece but also some little boy (about the same age as the niece) who's constantly here. Not only did she claim at Des Moines Elementary that this boy lives here but she never told managment about it, as far as I'm concerned this is perjury.
Noise...looks like these people grew up in a barn, the constnat slamming of the front door, the skateboarding in the hallway and...what does a four year old do still up at tne / ten thirty pm screaming his head off. Don't say anything about my dog, she's if not the same size but perhaps smaller than her cat. At times there is so much commotion going on next door one thinks the apartment is being remodeled. I have lived here now for over three years and never had a problem with mold (perhaps she should've cleaned her bathroom more often) nor did I ever have or had any problem getting things fixed. The managment will go out of their way to accommodate any and all tenants with speed and friendlyness (the old saying goes...remmebr the echo)Yes, perhaps they should sit (unnecessarily) in the office all day so some undesirable tenant can complain. There are several other tenents in the complex with children but there are no complaints from any of their neighbors.
In the case of above....who wants to live next to a kindergarten....as a matter of fact, she did not get kicked out becuase one can not make some noise at times, but for the constant disturbments. Don';t let some dumb ass tell you this is a bad place...I live here with my mom and my daughter and grandson live three apartments away in the same building...."""such a bad place""" better come and see for yourself and if you still have any doubts, come talk to me

You have no right to call me a dumb ass. I am a 26 year old woman who put her life on hold to take in her sister's kids. I have a loud family. I am sorry for that. But I shouldn't have to be sorry. Don't think I couldn't hear your family. I could hear every step your family took up and down the hallway. When you went out late at night. Or when you grandson ran down the hallway. I never complained about it because that is what happens in an apartment complexs. And Des Moines Elem knows where my nephew lives. That is why he is over all the time, he lives just outside the school boundaries, so he has no transportation to or from school when my sister has to work. You could have talked to me, and listened to me. I was trying my best with them. I was, and am, going through a really hard time right know, and I needed the support from my community. Thank God, I have found another community that does support me, and my family. They think my nephew is cute, and that he is not bad...he is FOUR!!! What am I supposed to do, lock him up in a closet. Anyway, I have feeling that no tenet could ever do anything right, you sure had some complaints about the last one, and the ones who were above me.
I did enjoy getting to know you at first. And I am sorry things turned out they way they did. I worked hard...
But I need to get over this place, after I talk to my lawyer...I'll be down with it.
