If you want an idea of what and where up to 10% of your neighbors (the other tennants) are coming from then pay a visit to this eyeopening document put together by the Housing Authority Of Snohomish County (HASCO), visit this web address ---> http://documents.csh.org/documents/communications/familySH/ you have to cut and paste it or type it in manually then by all means do it. This document mentions how a respected businessman help overcome the objections of the tennants, I WAS NEVER INFORMED AT ANY TIME BEFORE OR AFTER I SIGNED MY LEASE THAT THIS WAS GOING ON HERE. NOR IS IT MENTIONED IN THE LEASE ANYWHERE. Up to 10% percent of the apartments at Edmonds Highlands are designated as "transitional housing." The target for these transitional apartments are low income homeless families headed by single mothers. To be elligible they must be "low income single mothers with children, demostrated sobriety, not pursued by a violent spouse / partner" This a direct quote from the document published by HASCO.
Be informed BEFORE YOU RENT, then make your own mind up. Be informed BEFORE, not after like I was.
