This is one of the nicest apartments I've ever lived in, and I am 50 years old and have always lived in apartments. True, the kitchen counter is really old-fashioned, and the woodword throughout the apartment is dark and looking a bit dated and worn out, but overall it's wonderful.

SO QUIET -- I never hear my neighbors AT ALL. A nice babbling brook and trees outside to look at and listen to. Good size apartment, nice layout. Just a few blocks to walk to the waterfront, the shops, restaurants, library, post office and grocery store. Classy, safe, sought-after neighborhood. Bus service if you need it. Even my mother says this is the nicest place I've ever lived.

I've always had great maintenance service in my apartment, but I think the hallways should have been updated ages ago. BUT, I don't live in the hallways, so it's not that big a deal to me.

The one thing I really hate is that there is no way to have your Fed Ex or UPS packages accepted, and if I'm not home it can take days to get them redelivered when I AM home. Most managers will keep them in the office in a safe place for you, and here it is not so, even though some have been stolen from the lobby. But I try to solve this by getting things mailed to me via the Postal Service, which puts packages in a secure locked box.

All in all, I'd live here again in a minute.
