We have lived in a two bedroom 1-1/2 bath apartment there for two years now (April 200 until present).

Pluses

The location is great being less than a block from the the city park, and three block from the downtown business core.

Minuses

Electric heat with non-insulated windows (most without screens) has meant that the electrical bills have been very high for the last two winters. I doubt the walls are insulated since building was probably built in the late '50s early '60s.

The manager does next to no maintenance - burned out light bulbs go unchanged for weeks, in some cases months at a time.

There is a leak in the roof which has not been repaired, and this has managed to find its way down to the basement level where the dumpsters are. There has been standing water there all winter long.

This is a rather large building (50 plus units), and only four washing machines and dryers. Laundry can take hours of your time every week.

The manager's husband parks over night in guest parking on a regular basis.

In general, all the plumbing and kitchens need to be up dated.

Only one elevator that is too small to move larger furniture. Cannot be key controlled for loading. Or if it can, the manager will not let tenants use the key.
