How many bad things can I say about this complex' TONS!

I'll start the list just as you see it
1. Parking
Two spots are available to each resident. Resident must sign in your cars with management so they don't get towed. Cars are still tagged and a tow truck regularly circles the grounds

2. Noise
The walls are paper thin and residents are known to blare their stereos and TV's at virtually any hour. Pool closes at 10pm in summer and it's loud till 9:55pm. Parties everywhere with drunk people yelling on the grounds

4. Safety
Women and elderly beware. The lighting is poor. The lights above the "security door" are broken or burnt out. The security doors are broken regularly and propped open at all hours. Shady individuals wandering the halls banging on doors.

6. Laundry facilities
1.00 per machine is average and no problem. 4 washers/ 4 dryers in each building. During peak hours, clothing will be thrown out wet or almost dry if you don't promptly grab your clothes

8. Recycling facilities
The dumpsters are regularly overflowing and recycling consists of two large green garbage cans

9. Construction
I moved into an apartment that was apparently renovated before I got here. The layout and carpet were the only good thing going. Particle board shelves were stapled together and fell apart multiple times

11. Water pressure
At irregular intervals the water is turned off for maintenance. Sometimes you're lucky and are notified days in advance. The other times you might get 1hr to NO NOTICE.

14. Pests (Bugs)
From the moment I moved in my apartment was infested with ants. Ants that love water and come out of the fixtures alllll the time.
They're in the bathroom, bedroom, closet, kitchen, living...everywhere. Pest control worked for 3 months then they're back.

15. Neighborhood
Living on Hwy 99 isn't exactly the safest neighborhood. Surrounded by businesses mostly. Safeway close by..also a trailer park a block away.

19. Security services
I have only seen security on the complex once. That was when I was walking to my apartment and I was grilled by a woman with a flashlight. "Do you live here'" "Which building'" "Go home." Other than that..noise or violence be damned I don't think anybody cares.

20. Office staff
Slow and lazy from the start they haven't improved with new personnel. They drag their heels and don't seem to take complaints seriously.

I recommend avoiding this complex if possible. If you want a cheap place..you've got one. Park Edmonds 210, 212, and Pacific Park Apts are all budget apartments and it shows. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC
