I lived in this place for 8 months and I had problems with the place every since I e-mailed the leasing office saying I was interested. They never got back to me, I had to call over and over again just to get someone to tell me about the place. The property manager is rude and never returns any calls.
Not too long ago, there was a busted pipe, it flooded my apartment and my neighboors and it took them a week to get in there and soak it all up. Then they tore my carpet up and ripped the padding out, they had holes in my wall for over a week. I was out of town the first couple days after it happened and no one called me to inform me that my apartment was in this condition. When I got back into town and went home,it was flooded and I had fans blowing on the soaking carpet. I called the property manager and was upset no one called me and asked her what was going to be done and how I'm suppose to live there since it was flooded. (this is a studio apartment, so it is quite small) This is what she said to me "It IS still livable, it's not disturbing your living situation in any way" A MONTH later they finally had some one come and fix my carpet, this was just to re-pad it and nail it back down. The carpet was nailed back in with the same boreds as before, these boreds were covered in mold. Then on top of it all, there is now a huge spot in the middle of the room, orange and crusty hard. They won't do anything about that, and they never gave me a discount or an apology or anything.
I would never reccomend any one to rent from Summit Point Leasing!
