You Don't Get What You Pay For

I live in University Court now. When they give you the tour, they make it sound like there's no better place in the world, but that's a lie. Rent is $840 for two people, and each person has to pay a $500 deposit, which is way too much. Also, they tell you that cats are allowed, but when you ask them after the lease is signed, they tell you that you have to pay a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to have a cat! Are you kidding me''' The heaters suck and there's no air conditioning. The windows are so terrible, and let all kinds of cold air in. The only great thing is the 2 bathrooms, and that cable and internet are paid for. The dishwasher sucks and doesn't get anything off, and I've talked to others and heard the same thing. I figured that since it's so expensive, it would be a nice place to live, but I'd rather live somewhere else and pay less. You hear everyone who goes up and down the stairs, and the upstairs neighbors sound like they're doing River Dance or something! The apartments are nice, but they should cost a couple hundred less. Trust me, you do not get what you pay for at University Court.
