My husband and I moved in to Amber Glen in November, and so far we've had very few problems with the place. The few we do have are with some of the visitors, not the grounds, buildings or managers.
Parking is a problem, but the managers are aware of it and doing what they can. Since I've been here, they've added a few new visitor spots near the front, which is nice. The spots themselves are compact, and I know a friend of mine has had difficulty pulling her minivan in beside the SUV and truck that flank her parking spot.
The apartment itself has a new stove and new refrigerator, and the managers are trying to update and maintain the apartments as they are cleared out.
We have a 2 bedroom place, without washer and dryer, but there are singles, and units with washers and dryers. We do have a fireplace which is nice if you care to use it.
Physically the only problem I have had with the apartment was the lack of knobs and handles on the cabinets and drawers, but I was allowed to put them on myself with no trouble (no more broken nails).
Truth be told, they are not in the best part of Everett, but they are good for the money we pay, and the managers are working to boot the tenants who cause problems and are of an unsavory nature. I have heard, though I don't know if it's true, that they envision the complex being mostly Navy and Boeing employees and their families. That would be nice.
I do think the walls are rather thin, but as long as I have asked the neighbors to keep it down during the evening hours, it's not been a problem.
The managers are trying to keep the grounds nice, and so far it's never been bad in my opinion. Dumpsters are located in fairly convenient locations, and are well maintained and emptied on a regular basis.
