Ok, so we move in... everything is okay... so far. Until they change the fact that now you have to pay online for your rent or mail it in to the east coast. Then when you pay online you have to pay an extra $35 to pay online!! The screwed up part about it is that everything is based out on eastern time, which they conveniently forget to tell you about. The best part' They don't even have computers in the cabana anymore to pay with, so you have to find your own connection! They took down their "business center" and told us they were getting wi-fi for the whole community... that was about 3 months ago. Still no wi-fi. What the hell is the purpose of a cabana anyways'! The staff is okay... nothing to brag about. Then there's the random ISTA bill that comes for water and sewer charges and that bill is so jacked up, that they can't get it right even if they tried!! Which not to mention some idiot told us that that was included in our rent when we signed our lease and to "ignore that bill when it comes" because ISTA just needs to mail it out for their billing purposes. My lease is over halfway over and I can't wait to get out of here. I have lived in apartments my whole life and this one takes the cake for being the worst. Congrats to Avalon!

hey i lived there too... You must do this - request a form that says you will not be renewing your lease. if you dont before the 60 day mark ( as in 60 day before your lease is up) they will automatically renew your lease. says so in the lease.
