Tenant's Complaints Answered with Threats of Eviction

I have been a resident here for the past seven years, and have seen the management change hands twice, with each change causing an increase in rent and other hidden charges, while maintenance and staff has taken a nosedive. When someone vomited outside the doorways of our upstairs units, my neighbors and I were told it was not Breckenridge's responsibility to clean it up. It was there, through spring drizzles and sweltering summer heat, for at least three months. After numerous complaints from me, it was never taken care of. The only reason it was cleaned up was because as my boyfriend and I were leaving one day, we saw the people hired to re-paint the complex pressure-washing the building and we asked THEM if they could just spray it out for us. The painter (who is NOT a member of Breckenridge's maintenance team) was very nice and sympathetic, and took care of it for us in a matter of seconds.
After I began having issues with the condition of living in these apartments, I was suddenly faced with various notices on my door threatening me with eviction due to 'noise complaints' from 'multiple neighbors'. I work 40 hours per week as a manager of a retail store, and when I AM home, I am watching TV or playing with my 9-year-old son. They are making me out to be some sort of wild, party-girl, which is the furthest thing from who I actually am. To be honest, I have been staying at the apartment less and less due to the sub-standard conditions of appliances (the oven sets off the smoke detector every time you even turn it on, the refrigerator makes such a noise you can barely hear yourself think, the washer is on it's last leg and they refuse to replace it, the dryer takes FIVE cycles to dry one load of laundry, the dishwasher does NOT clean even pre-soaked dishes, and there are cracks and stains on all the bathroom fixtures, all of which I am sure they will find a way to charge ME for when I move out next month). This is NOT a place you want to call home. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq

It is my personal opinion in this case that, although the breeze-way is a public area that it would be beneficial to Breckenridge to keep the area free of unsanitary fluids that could be slipped on and used in a potentially slip and fall lawsuit. A test of this situation is, for example, snow and ice. I have always seen maintenance out scooping and de-icing when we get bad weather. So I either I don't understand or the complaint is invalid.

My dryer took 2 hrs to dry one load. The door was falling off of the diswasher and half of my burners did not work on my stove, but they raised my rent over $200.00 in two yrs and charged me for water/garbage and parking. I got out. I hope you can find a nicer place to live.
