I lived in a Brighton Square apartment for three years. During that three years, there were Five different managers. There were the owners of the complex who were always mysteriously referred to as "the owners"; I never was able to speak with them when I neded to nor did I ever even get their name. This complex is the most money guzzling, finance sucking complex I have ever lived in. When we moved out, we were expecting to pay around a thousand dollars for not giving enough notice to vacate and for having parts of the walls primed. Now that we are gone, and live in Hawaii, an entirely different manager is working there who is trying to charge us Three thousand dollars. Seriously, if they can get you, they will. It was very difficult to get maintenance to come to repair things, and when/if they ever did, it was usually done poorely, and I would have to wait all over for them to come out again (if they ever came). They cancelled the security patrol. They constantly raise the rent. And, as the apartments at first glance seem real nice and cute, they were poorley built, as I have seen and felt too many of the carpenters' mistakes. The last four managers have had bad attitudes and were worse than unhelpful.
Also, I had serious neighbor altercations, such as partying at 3am and having glass beer bottles fallen and broken on my patio, as well as a drunk lunatic vomitting down on my patio from the upstairs balcony. I tried to resolve these with the neighbors first, then the apartment manager, and finally the police. I mean really, the apartment managers were not helpful at all. I would not recommend this complex. It may be very alluring at first, but once you sign the contract, you may come to regret it, as I did.

Hi I'm the new manager. Yes, there has been some major changes in management. As for this particular individuals high costs of move out it took over 40 man hours to get this apartment ready to rent again. We had to primer and paint the walls with 3 coats of paint due to their kids coloring every where with makers and crayons. We also replaced the carpet and vinyl for the same reason. And they failed to give proper notice 20 days prior to the end of the rental period. Now this is not a typical move out. Generally most people get their deposit back. As for this gentleman's problems with the neighbor I can't say much other than I run a tight ship now that I'm here and don't put up with tenants making a nuisance. I also know there were some issues with the previous maintenance person, which we are working to fix. I feel that this is a nice complex and while it is not perfect it still provides a great place to live and offers a good value for the area.

I have lived in the apartments since they opened and one of the 1st residents. Yes there has been manager roll overs, but every manager that rolled over (esp. the last one) needed to leave. I remember that party as I live a building down, and there were cops there that night and the residents didnt live there much longer, when signing the rental agreement you sign a paper along the lines of not throwing parties where authorities are called. I have only seen 2 parties like that in 3 1/2 years of living here.
