Not the greatest

Moved here is July of 2005. Have seen a lot of changes to the place some good and some bad.

Good:
Changed the guest parking from free for all, to having to get a pass from the management. This has made it so that the parking situation is 100 times better than previously. There is some questions about the policy if a guest comes after hours (Manager said that you can put a note on the car, but then you ask security and this is news to them, and they would rather tow your car instead).

The Maintenance personal are friendly and positive, willing to help on something else that you find while they are in the apartment (offered to put a above stove microwave in the apartment for no charge). However Trying to get them up there, can be quite a feat, as the management loses the work orders or does not stock standard parts to fix cabinets, or appliance.

Bad:

Was told that this was a gated community, however the gate only worked for about 3 days before management gave up. They decided that the cost was unacceptable vs what they were getting out of it. Was found that guest would drive up and then break the gate by driving into it.

Amenities:

The playground is not. The tanning bed does not work. The gym could use some updating.

Difference in pay rates for garages. We were told that we could pay 50 a month for a garage, then we went to sign up and it was 80 a month. After talking to some residents, some people pay only 40 a month, while others pay 50, 60 or 70. Told we can have 2 auto's on site, but no where to put them.

Bottom line: You are next to Casino and try as they might, this area is still slummy. Rent raises are to much for the area and what you get in return. Was almost a 25% raise, talked management in to a 10% raise. There is a lot of turmoil in the office, as over the last 3 years, they have gone through 3 managers, and so many assistants, it is not funny. Would suggest looking elsewhere.
