This property has sme great things and some not so great things about
Positives:
The grounds are beautiful and taken care of I loved just walking around the complex in the evenings, it was tranquil.
I loved the layout of my apartment. The rooms were spacious and it had little amenities like a vanity and a walk in closet in the master and a HUGE walk-in pantry of the kitchen and a built in shelving unit in the living room.
The maintenance people were very nice and good people.
The rent was right on par with the rest of the area.
It was very quiet. You obviously had the children playing in the summer months but for the most part I didn't have much problem with noise.
Amenities were awesome. We utilized the indoor swimming pool a lot and it was always clean

Negatives:
I payed extra each month for a "upgraded unit". when I moved in I almost cried because the painting job was horrible and the "new" counters were peeling and cracked. I also had broken drawers and poles in the closet. ON the positive note though they did fix this issues within record time.
Parking was horrible!!! This was probably the worst thing about the property. If I had known it was going to be this bad i probably wouldn't have moved in.
Security: If you do live here do not accept parking in the back by the fence. It is very dark and not many apartments look into the part of parking area. Our car got broken into and spray painted within the first few months. we had are assigned parking spaces moved and never had an incident again.
The front office girls are okay. Not mean but not very efficient. If they assign you a parking spot make sure you get it in writing right away. Twice they assigned us a spot and they assigned the same spot to someone else. The first time we actually got towed and my wife was late for work trying to deal with it. The second time we kept finding someone parking in our spot and talked to the office.
Other than that I really liked the place. If I ever had to live in an apartment again and Covington farms fixed their parking I would move back.
Also the security patrols guys are very very racist.

the elementary school is just about a block down, challenger....very very good. the middle school is also about 2 blocks down, on sharon drive, it is explorer...not so great. the high school would be mariner. elementary and middle school must walk, no busses provided.

I have similar sentiments...there are good and bad here. However, for us the bad outweighed the good. Parking, safety, and noise were the major issues. Unlike you, we had a major issue with noise...both the thin walls and loud kids. I agree about the office people being nice but inefficient. We had the same problem with the "upgraded unit"...cracked countertops, mismatched tile floors, missing shelves, old carpet...etc. They fixed some of the problems, but not all. Again there are good and bad things, but if you have a problem with noise and thin walls, take that into consideration as well as everything else.
