I would not recomend this complex. I am currently looking for a new place to live. I have lived here for 5 years and have watched it go downhill fast. Within the last year we have had numerous rapes and 2 murders. The complex is becoming very gang oriented.

This review is spot on - I am also a tennant and although I have been here for less time than the reviewer above, I've also seen it get worse and worse. If I was a female I'd be afraid to walk around the complex at night! The place was converted into a Tax Credit property, which means they get money from the government to compensate for charging less to rent to low income families. This also means that they don't really give a crap about the tennants because they'll still get their government money even if they have a high turnover rate for tennants. The apartments needed to be "renovated" to qualify as legal Tax Credit properties, and the labor they were using may have been illegal migrant workers - Judging from the money they're (not) willing to spend on the property, it would not surprise me to find out they're hiring cheap illegal labor to cut costs on the required renovations. I'd seriously look into an audit of ALL workers on this property. Just shady.

I live in these apartments currently. The person who posted something on 03/15 sounds more racist than upset to me. They are renovating the apartments and they are almost done. The place looks a thousand times better! As far as safety just like any neighborhood a lady shouldn't walk alone after dark, but from your car to the apartment is not scary at all in fact it is really well lit. They also have sheriffs and security everynight that check every license plate tag that comes in and if you don't live there or you have a record for something they remove you from the property. Also, I know they are spending almost a ton on the renovations and the interiors are not done cheaply at all. The only thing that needs improvement is the hallways and they told me they are doing those last but will be done soon. It's not the worst place to live, and its a good deal for someone just starting out.

I wouldn't live here. It is ghetto. I'm from the south so I know what the projects look like and this reminds me of it. They renovated the apartments but there still not a place to live. The sheriff's basically live in the apartments and if you have people come over and they wait in the car until you open the door. The police will mess with you. The
builing is old and you can hear everything. Hallways smell like dog urine. The people in the office are rude. The maintenance man is a fake secruity. He has been beat up twice because he needs to do his job and stop acting like the police. And even the police are never around when something happens. To much drug traffic going on. I just would not stay here at all again! It might be in your budget but please don't move her, you will regret it in the long run.

Viewed the apartment complex..hallways smell. Didn't know if we were in a cheap porno flick or a leasing office. Inappropriate work attire..puff puff Tiff Tiff. If only cleavage could solve all the problems in the world? At least my husband and I know where they start and what to avoid. Sincerely, highly don't recommend this apartment.
