I only lived at Huntington Park for 3 months during a summer internship...they turned on all the utilities for me, BUT THEY DID NOT TURN THEM OFF, and I ended up being sent to collections for a bill I never paid because I had ceased to reside there. However, that said, the staff at huntington park called the utilities company on my behalf and convinced them to drop the charges. As to the property, I won't lie, the stairwell was not the cleanest I had ever seen and frequently there were lots of bugs, but bugs happen...they were in the stairwell, not the apartment. It was very annoying that you could always hear the kids playing on the playground, and the fake tile in the kitchen was peeling, but overall, an acceptable place. I do not think I would live there again, but I didn't hate the experience.
